What is included in the book club?

You will receive:

  • A hardcopy of each of the three books featured that quarter shipped to you

  • Video or Audio access to a live, 60-minute webinar with the book author

  • Video or Audio access to a 30-minute small breakout group discussion (immediately following the webinar)

  • Access to recordings of the Webinar to replay on demand

  • Access to an online learning community forum

Is there a refund?

Refunds are available until January 8th. Send an email to bookclub@mindfulleader.org to request the refund. You will need to ship the books back to us. You will be responsible for the return postage.

No refunds are available after January 8th.

What if I already own or don’t want to buy all the books? What if I would prefer an audio or electronic version of the books?

The book club registration includes hard copies of the three featured books. We are not able to provide order customization or partial registration.

Is there a discount for groups?

The pricing of our pilot Book Club is the lowest we can offer. Going forward there will be special rates for group signups.

How do I register a group?

During checkout, instead of “1”, select the number according to the number of people you are registering.

Provide the primary contact information in the order form.  If you'd like to have the books shipped to different address contact us at bookclub@mindfulleader.org and our support team will assist you.

Can I buy this as a gift?

The book club makes an excellent gift, and the first round of shipping is just in time for Christmas.

Participation and Schedule

When will the books arrive?

When you receive the books depends on when you register and all three books will arrive in the same package.

If you register before December 15th, you will receive your books sometime in the week of December 18th - 22nd.

If you register before January 5th, you will receive your books sometime in the week of January 8 - 12.

What are the dates and times for the author webinars?

What if I miss a webinar?

Recordings of the webinars will be made available to all book club members to watch on demand.

What if I don’t have time to read the book?

Read as much as you can or the parts that interest you the most! Reading the entire book is not a prerequisite for participation. We provide multiple ways to engage the material in the book through the webinar, online forum, and discussion.

Do I need to be technical to connect on the webinar?

We use Zoom, one of the leading video conferencing platforms. It is known for its ease of access and stability.

Zoom has a range of functionality. You can connect with audio-only simply by dialing in and using the provided access code. You can connect to the live video, but turn off your video, so you can see and hear the author and other members but remain off-camera yourself. Finally, you can connect using your webcam to see and share video.

Will these authors be featured again in the future? What books will be featured in the future?

These authors may be included again in the future. Every quarter we will announce the next group of featured books and authors.

 

What if I want to follow-up with the author and learn more?

The authors will provide ways to engage with them beyond the book club.

The book club also provides a great opportunity to connect with other members doing similar work in their companies and industries.
