New MBSR Participant Opt-In Research Study Opportunities

Occasionally, academic institutions look for participants of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs to support their research efforts. Participation is voluntary and time will be compensated. At Mindful Leader, we want to support the MBSR community and supporting research is our newest way to do so.

We are now listing opportunities for those interested in participating in research. The first opportunity we have listed is Creating and Optimizing Mindfulness Measures to Enhance and Normalize Clinical Evaluation (COMMENCE) conducted by researchers supported by Northwestern University, National Institutes of Health (NIH), University of Pittsburgh, and National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH). There is compensation up to $150 for participation.

You must be currently registered for an MBSR Mindful Leader class that has not yet started to access these opportunities.

If you are conducting an MBSR-based research study that you would like us to consider announcing, please contact us here with details.

Please note that Mindful Leader is not conducting the research. We receive no payment from these institutions and we will not be able to answer any of your questions regarding these programs. Please contact the institutions directly should you have any questions.
