Yael Shy at the 2018 @Work Summit discusses college level Mindfulness programs at NYU, and she is is the director of Mindful NYU and the senior director at Global Spiritual Life at NYU. From experiencing her own breaking point at NYU as an undergrad, she is now passionate to reach students who can benefit from meditation. She focuses on spreading mindfulness practices and serving the emerging adulthood (17-30 year old population) and people who are finding their way through their 20s and 30s.

Yael Shy is the CEO of Mindfulness Consulting, LLC, where she teaches and consults on mindfulness for universities, corporations, and private clients around the world. She is the author of the award-winning book, What Now? Meditation for Your Twenties and Beyond (Parallax, 2017). She is the Founder and former Senior Director of MindfulNYU, the largest campus-based mindfulness initiative in the country. Yael has worked with educational institutions and companies from across the globe to implement creative and meaningful opportunities for well-being in their workplaces. Yael has also led popular and effective workshops and classes for companies and organizations on utilizing mindfulness to improve corporate culture, enhance focus, ease anxiety and deepen wellness.
