Betsy Fagin is a poet and educator with a commitment to the cultivation of awareness and alleviation of suffering. Betsy has taught yoga and meditation for the past 3 years building on more than 10 years of experience as an educator in libraries and academic settings. Betsy is a yoga teacher (RYT-200) and a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher through the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School with additional training from Brown University’s Mindfulness Center. She shares mindfulness practices in New York City centered on developing resource for the work of social justice.
