As we welcome you into this course, it’s important that we provide clarity about what conditions exist for you as a participant. Here are Mindful Leader’s Terms and Conditions.
Waiver and Release of Liability
As consideration for participating in this course, you hereby agree to waive any and all claims against Mindful Leader and course instructors, trainers, and guests, for any personal injury, damage, or expenses you may suffer as a result of your participation in any courses from Mindful Leader.
You have carefully read this Waiver and Release of Liability and fully understand its contents. You are aware that this is a release of liability and an agreement between yourself and Mindful Leader, and you agree to this and take this course of your own free will.
Copyright and Usage of Materials
Copyright and ownership of the materials and recordings provided during the Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator Training course belongs to and is copyrighted by Mindful Leader.
As a participant of this course, you agree not to share or distribute any materials and recordings provided with the intent of training or preparing others to facilitate (including others within or outside of your organization) without written consent by Mindful Leader.
Such materials are intended to be used only by you as a mindfulness facilitator.
This does not permit you to teach other facilitators using this material.
Your Privacy
Mindful Leader treats your privacy seriously and is detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
During the course, your basic information (name, email address, city, time zone) will be shared with other participants in your cohort.

Certification requirements:
This is a 12-week program where a cohort of participants move through the program together in order to earn certification. We estimate that each week you will spend 2-2.5 hours in class and 1-1.5 hours outside of class.
- Agree to the Mindful Leader Code of Conduct
- Practicing mindfulness regularly and being aware of the way it impacts me, those around me, and my ability to serve
- Treating everyone with dignity and respect and creating an environment where people from any race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, or gender identity feel welcomed
- Doing no harm and considering the impact of my actions on other people, the environment, and the greater good
- Contributing to and leveraging the collective intelligence of the facilitator community
- Continuously improving myself, my abilities, and my skill set, all while maintaining an open mindset
- Attend all CWMF live classes over 12 weeks and an orientation
- Pass the CWMF certification exam
- Facilitate 2 mindfulness practice sessions:
- With your class pod group (group of up to 6 peers)
- Self-organized session for 3 or more participants
- Submit a CWMF Development Plan
Accountability to yourself, your peers, and your facilitator/instructor is required for this course. In order to earn your certification, you must fulfill all requirements. Mindful Leader retains the right to deny granting your certification per the instructor’s recommendation after reviewing your Certification Package or if the course is not paid for in a timely manner. Mindful Leader will work with the intention of reconciling any issues around getting you certified.
