MBSR Instructor - Dr. Gus Castellanos
Gus Castellanos, M.D. is a retired neurologist who came to MBSR in 1998 and has been practicing mindfulness ever since. He began teaching and researching mindfulness-based programs in 2009. He has facilitated hundreds of mindfulness programs, workshops, and lectures for thousands of participants throughout South Florida and internationally online. As an adjunct instructor at Nova Southeastern University, he developed, delivered, and researched a mindfulness-based program for students, staff, and faculty. Gus has been facilitating a weekly mindfulness session at a local prison since 2011 and serves on the advisory board of Palm Health Foundations' Train The Brain campaign.
